Mac OS Help - Not Launching

Hello! I am making a post on behalf of my friend. He, for some unknown reason, is not able to create a post here so I am here to help him. He downloaded OBS Studio on his Mac Catalina 10.15.7 and the application will not open at all when clicked on. We saw that OBS is compatible with Mac but it is not working for him. Can we get some help please?
