There could be several potential reasons for this issue where your streaming on Twitch was interrupted while OBS appeared to be running fine. Some common causes to consider include:

1. Internet Connection Issues:
A sudden drop in your internet connection could cause the stream to stop while OBS continues running. This might result in the kbps dropping to 0 in OBS, indicating that no data is being sent to Twitch. It's possible that other internet-dependent applications like your game and Discord were still functioning because they might have buffered some data before the connection interruption.

2. Twitch Server Problems:
Sometimes, the issue might not be on your end but on Twitch's servers. If there are server outages or problems on Twitch's side, it can cause your stream to disconnect while OBS still indicates it's running.

3. OBS Configuration or Settings:
Incorrect OBS settings or configurations could lead to disruptions in the streaming process. Ensure that you have set up OBS correctly with the appropriate streaming server, bitrate, and key settings for Twitch.

4. Hardware Limitations:
If your computer or network resources are being heavily used by other applications or processes, it might affect the stability of your streaming. This could result in OBS continuing to run, but the stream itself not being transmitted due to resource constraints.

5. Firewall or Antivirus Interference:
Sometimes, firewalls or antivirus software can interfere with the streaming process, causing interruptions.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following steps:

1.
Check your internet connection to ensure stability and sufficient bandwidth.
2.
Verify your OBS settings to make sure they are correct for streaming to Twitch.
3.
Restart OBS and Twitch to see if the problem persists.
4.
Consider checking Twitch's status page or social media accounts to see if there are any known issues on their end.
5.
If you suspect any software interference, temporarily disable firewalls or antivirus to see if it resolves the problem.
6.
If the issue continues to occur, it might be helpful to reach out to OBS support or Twitch support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on the setup and software versions you are using.
