Does the dog die?

As title says, watched some gameplay and saw a dog run off into the field..

I'm not great with dogs being hurt (I know its dumb and irrational) so can I just ask whether the dog dies?

If its offscreen, then I'll manage.

Agreed. Never feel less than someone else for actually feeling more. In my opinion it's the other way around. The weak have no sympathy and the strong does have more sympathy.

Appreciate these comments a ton! Always been told it was a stupid thing but its bothered me for years, especially if its German Shepherd's.. no chance I could watch I am Legend again

Meh, the dog never dies, so not a surprise at all. If the dog died in something there would probably be riots. I'm not a fan of dogs though, so i'm biased. I got attacked by one as a child. Definitely a cat person. Would love a game like this with a cat that does something heroic.
