Thoughts on AC MOTOE demo

Those are my subjective thoughts on the demo played during the steam next fest.

• Its set in modern day, which I noticed little phones, little wierd that they still behave the old ways, like keeping notes etc
  
• finally something different from the previous AC games
  
• it feels and looks low budget
  
• devs look to be doing the best they can, i wish they had more resources, ie. time and budget, chicken and a egg problem with the sales vs resources
  
• graphically nothing revolutionary, but at least its stylized and runs great
  
• not enough options in menu
• i.e half V-sync is missing
  
• running animation is broken (tested on xOne) actually speed seems to not change
  
• enocuntered bug(possibly game breaking), i inspected ratchets room 203, inspected 204,asked ms Hubbard, interwieved Michel, then i completed the detective minigame who is the closest passanger(and probably at the same time ratchets employees too) and suddenly i was teleported to Ratchets room, with the words im finished here. then i could again knock on the 204 room where miss hatchet would be shocked again and then she sat at the bed while another miss hatchet was already sitting there :), ended up stuck looking at this scene, couldnt control Hercule, see screenshot
  
• the animation where he complimets himself for good deduction is cringe imho
  
• I like the addition of lipsync, can't really complain about it not looking like big budget AAA titles though
  
• unskippable launch intro
  
• the game could use a narrator, intro game sequence felt like something was missing, like a cutscene
  
• I could acces all characters (joanna is without the portrait) in the menu, even though Ididn't meet them yet/ didn't acces the passanger list
  
• camera is little janky, for example how it snaps with character when trying to open doors
