Wake of the Ravager Weapons Disappearing

It seems that weapons with charges disappear after a certain amount of attacks?

Disappeared so far:
- Beast Club
- Life Stealer

Anyone else have weapons with charges disappear on them in Wake of the Ravager?

Sounds like a bug were magic weapons are given charges.

You can do a work around though.
1. Load an old save game where you have the items.
2. In the old save, drop a char who doesn't hold the weapons.
3. Add/Create a new character and give them the 2 weapons.
4. Drop this new character with the 2 weapons.
5. Load your recent save game and drop a character (Maybe give Quest/High value items to another character in case the character is corrupted somehow).
6. Add the dropped Lvl 1 character with the 2 weapons and give the items to another character in the party.
7. Drop the Lvl 1 character and add the character you dropped in step 5.

El's drinker disappered right at the end in my game. It had a LOT of use first though.

Is this game Darksun 2 possible to finish with this version or there are risks of gamebreaking bugs? I ask because very long ago i played this game and couldn't progress in late (or mid?) game with story and i though it was bug don't remember details but there were probably some mines (location) for example where i ended and maybe road to them had some trees where folks (elves?) lived.. It was really long time ago. But i always though about this games Darksun 1 and Darksun 2 as predecessors to later Baldurs Gate and similiar games, both are d&d and have their own books/worlds.

There are still risks, I would recommend backing up your save files (not that I do).

Had this happen with Lifestealer. Read on several forums that weapons in WotR actually do have hidden charge counts on hit effects, and disappear when the charges are used up. The item dupe trick is useful to preserve such items; call it a “cheat” or think of it as a hack that fixes an annoying idea that never should have been implemented, YMMV.
