Unlock teams in a save

So i unlocked a Germany and other national teams by deleting the following:

fake.lnc
lic_dan_swe_fra.lnc
nleague.lnc

But then suddenly 4 years into this save the damn game gets an update and the teams are back to the old fake annoying af names..

is there a way to fix or edit this in the save? iv deleted the files again but didnt seem to work.

Make sure you deleted all the correct files https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm23-real-names-license-fix.html I've never had a problem after an update

You might have to do it for all the folders if you are playing on an older game version
