Online game: Can't connect to server error

Hi I'm based in South Africa, playing an online game with a friend also from South Africa. I can't connect to his game. I keep getting a: "Can't connect to server" error.

How do I see if the server is down?

This is issue has been ongoing for more than a week.

I have tried connecting from three different computers and three different locations, with no success.

Please can anyone help?!

We have been experiencing the same issue - it is super frustrating! We have signed out of Steam, we've tried FM 2022 and we've tried reloading the game and still no success.

What the hell is going on?

My friend and I are having the same issue but neither of us are using the epic games launcher

me too, i don'i use the epic game launcher but i hope that a fix of their servers can resolve this problem indirectly, don't tell me how because idk

I tried to join some random lobbies and it worked only for those who have xbox platform..

Do you have any info on when it will be up again for everyone ?

Same problem here, we have been playing online FM23 with a couple of friends for a long time now and in the last 2-3 days, there is a problem in the join online page(where you join the network game). My friend can see the network game(which I set up) but when he clicks the game and chooses join, there is a warning which pops up saying "Unable to join server". We play the game over Steam platform. Can somebody explain why this is happening? Any ideas on roughly when this problem will be solved?

Ok, well the Epic server status is back to normal and the issue still persists 3 days later.
