I have improved a player's attributes. After a short time they drop drastically again. Can someone explain to me how this happens?

Please don't start a cheating discussion. In a single player game I can cheat myself as much as I want.

If you don't increase the potential ability, current ability is limited with PA, that's why it goes down. And basically you cant max everything, max 200 PA is your limit.

just find the freeze attributes and tick the box. never goes down from then on
