Rumour is, next years game will be a big upgrade so, we can hope
The Champions League is meant to be difficult. That's how it is in real life too. Look at teams like Man City and PSG. They've had some of the best squads in world football over the last decade but neither one of them have so far managed to win the UCL. Embrace the challenge! It just makes it more satisfying once you do eventually lift the trophy.
Took me 5 seasons to win it as Bayern on FM22, was great when I finally did it though! Especially since I lost to Liverpool in the final on my 4th attempt, only to beat them in the final on my 5th attempt.
I think in previous generations that would be the case, but when tenured players are saying it with examples and evidence then its difficult not to agree. I'd love to see FM get a rival in the management sim area as the game seems to be getting worse in areas (Mainly match engine) but doing really well in others (Training, player dynamics etc).
I think they need to strip it down to basics again as the ME has become to complicated for them to fix even the most basic bugs.
I think the difficulty is that lots of people try to crack the game by finding ways that tactics the make it impossible to lose and not actually realistic - then go on to win everything and complain about players giving feedback about the ME being ... honestly cringing to watch.
I don't find this version any easier or harder .... but I find the match engine to be the worst to date and its losing my love for the series.
I'd love to hear about how they're going to make personnel changes in the ME team as the current clearly isn't fit for purpose.
Good players keep winning... Every single FM people say the ME is broken... It's not broken, people are just bad at the game... The game has bugs, of course it has. But it's not only against you. You tend to see only things against you, which isn't reality. I play single player as well as I play online. I've played management games since Elifoot 1. In the newer FMs people have no patiences. They actually believe that making changes DURING a game will actually help them, they have no clue what real life coaching is about and in reality this is a real life simulation. How will it help you making changes your players have no training with ever in their in-game life... The game is not perfect of course, but it's the closest you will get in any football management game.
All you have to do is just get good at it. I know you get salty about it, but it's true... You have to consider that not only tactics are considered in how your team plays... All kinds of values depending on the position of the players matter, morale matters, coaching staff matters, what the players are coached at matter, individual training matters, physical fitness, tactical awareness, it's a mesh of situations that matter. And once in a while it will come the team that you shoot 30 shots on goal and you will lose 1-0 with an own goal where the opponents made 0 shots at goal... Guess what, that happens in real life as well...
Teams have ups and downs. Unless you cheat, you will never be perfect, as no team is in reality.
If the game is hard for you... enjoy it. Use the difficulties to explore ideas and define new strategies. Stop looking for online solutions that in the long run will not work for you as well, because you work wrong in the basics...
Try easier management games, more arcadie ones. And stop asking devs to destroy this game even more with Auto-Tactics and no creativity solutions because you are inpatient and have no idea what you're doing.
Interesting, but you're talking nonsense. You can't compare every FM player and you don't even know what experience or skill every player has so far in this genre who critizice the game. I bet if there was a statistic for shots against the post and crossbar, as well as offside-goals, it would always lead far by the human team when you as player watch the 3d match! Ask yourself why these statistics doesn't exist, because then it would be noticeable. Then you can bet the clock that when very important games come up, top players get injured. I mean sure it could happen in real life too but the chance of things like this happening is just too often. Always if I play with a friend together and we do alot, we are laughing about the same stupid things that happens. We take it easy, we enjoy the game but we predict this events. These are things that have nothing to do with the level of difficulty. This things are generated events against the human player in very important situations that hit more often the human player than the AI and that's the main problem for me.
Too easy to create OP tactics.
