Train Wall In 2-1

Forgive me if this sounds like a noob question, but I've been stuck on this for a while now and am really frustrated. When you get to the point in 2-1 where you have to cross the train tracks...how do you? I'm unable to jump over the right wall and just always get run over by the train. I even did the tutorial again so make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. So...what likely obvious thing am I missing? Thanks.

Double jump and wall jump.

That's what I thought, but I always get caught against the right wall. So is it double jump and then wall jump against that right wall? The double jump is so finicky and gives you so little distance, I'm not sure.

mash jump against the wall and holding right

I blame the crap tutorial.

Yeah the game doesn't tell you but you can pretty much wall-climb like you would do in Mega Man X

Yep, I figured it out. Amazing that for as long as the tutorial is, it doesn't go over that. I'm getting more and more frustrated with the combat system design as I go. But I'm playing the game to do a video on it, so we'll see how this fleshes out. Thanks all!

i strongly suggest playing more of the training room to see how the games mechanics work . admitantly while yes the training tools are limeted(only the one enemy and very few state modes to put them in ) it does allow for lots of experimentation regardless.(u can parry the train too ;3

You don't even need to wall jump in that part if you do a well timed sprinting double jump.

Always be sprinting.

As someone who is playing this on Switch and getting a lil frustrated with this game already, I am v thankful I am not the only one having an issue here 😅😅😅
