But soon, you can't be sure if you are talking to the hiker.... or the something...
1. Firewatch: you are a man in a tower in a forest watching the national park around you ready to report fires and talking on the radio to another person in a tower nearby. Meanwhile, someone is creeping around and doing things they shouldn't.
2. Road 96: While not exactly the same using a radio to chat, it has all the same vibes and the story line offers everything you could want and more, additionally a main plot point centers around an illegal CB radio.
3. Dark Nights with Poe and Munroe: It is late night and you, poe, are running a radio show with you partner munroe. It seems there a series of xfiles like mysteries happening and you feel compelled to investigate each one with the help of your radio partner
Also Road 96 is a pretty great game and I enjoyed it also very much.

I think someone could ask for a recommendation for any game of any genre and I'd still recommend The Painscreek Killings. I knew nothing about that game and only got it because I wanted a detective/mystery game where it actually looked realistic rather than 2D and I was so surprised at how immersed I was. There's been nothing else like it for me since then.
