No VR on PC
I saw this game getting announced as a VR title, but is there not going to be a VR option for the Steam version?

This needs to have VR support on PC or what is the point of even releasing it ?

I agree. Treating PC players as second class is just a ♥♥♥♥ thing to do.

Presenting the game during the Upload VR Show with the Steam logo ! "Oh nice a new VR game on Steam". Then I realized it wasn't in VR on Steam...

I refuse to buy the game on Quest knowing there is a PC version. I hope it's just a temporary thing and it will come to PC VR eventually.

yeah not buying unless PC also gets vr

I hope so. PC players being forced to pay full price for less features than the console version does seem too egregious to be real. Hopefully the devs will clarify things.

New flash, a 'console' is a PC too. And prolly more powerful than you rig.

Unfortunately, PCVR does not sell well, especially compared to Quest. I know you guys are upset. I'm a PCVR guy too. However, the market realities are what they are. PCVR doesn't make enough money for devs compared to the Quest so that's why we get releases like this (no PCVR for a made for VR game). That's a fact.

So you guys really need to get over it. If you want to blame anybody, blame Valve. They haven't done anything for Steam VR since HLA released several years ago. I would be livid if I had bought a Valve Index given their poor support for the platform. No games, no new updates.

I heard they were working on Citadel and another VR game, but it's been years and I also heard they were working on Deckard, but it's been a while as well. I hope Valve comes through with these VR releases. I have my doubts though. They probably forgot about VR and went all in on the Steam Deck.

Newsflash: a console is not a PC

Turns out Citadel (Neon Prime) is a 3rd person hero shooter moba type game. Apparently, there is no news that it will support VR. Which, it was supposed to be a VR game. Again, you guys can be mad at devs for going to where the money is or you can be mad at Steam / Valve for forgetting about VR.

As someone who owns a Quest 2, I prefer to play the PC VR versions of games; for example I bought Red Matter 2 on Steam instead of the Quest store.

But I also understand why the developers are going where the money is - and that's not here, it's the Meta Quest store.

Grid Legends was another game I wanted to get on PC VR but it's a Quest exclusive.

Yeah but as a result of not releasing a PCVR version, I won't buy nor the Steam version nor the Quest one (I own a Quest 2 but I refuse to play native games on it, they look too bad).

That's the general consensus, however Amid Evil VR recently posted that they sold 10x more on Steam than Quest 2.

The issue here is this dev advertised it as a VR title and showed the Steam logo, and lots of us flocked here to purchase, and were met by no VR - we feel deceived and disappointed, even though it might have been unintentional by the dev.
