New flash, a 'console' is a PC too. And prolly more powerful than you rig.
So you guys really need to get over it. If you want to blame anybody, blame Valve. They haven't done anything for Steam VR since HLA released several years ago. I would be livid if I had bought a Valve Index given their poor support for the platform. No games, no new updates.
I heard they were working on Citadel and another VR game, but it's been years and I also heard they were working on Deckard, but it's been a while as well. I hope Valve comes through with these VR releases. I have my doubts though. They probably forgot about VR and went all in on the Steam Deck.
Newsflash: a console is not a PC
But I also understand why the developers are going where the money is - and that's not here, it's the Meta Quest store.
Grid Legends was another game I wanted to get on PC VR but it's a Quest exclusive.
Yeah but as a result of not releasing a PCVR version, I won't buy nor the Steam version nor the Quest one (I own a Quest 2 but I refuse to play native games on it, they look too bad).
That's the general consensus, however Amid Evil VR recently posted that they sold 10x more on Steam than Quest 2.
The issue here is this dev advertised it as a VR title and showed the Steam logo, and lots of us flocked here to purchase, and were met by no VR - we feel deceived and disappointed, even though it might have been unintentional by the dev.
