Killer Frequency (2019) was made by Adam Findlay, a then employee at Team17, in his spare time. I assume they bought the IP from him and are developing a bigger version of it. Adam Findlay has left Team17 a year ago to start working as a Senior Game Designer at Sumo Digital (which was a step up the career ladder for him as his new position at Sumo is higher than his at Team17).
Regardless the Original Killer Frequency was a short, yet incredibly charming experience. With very fitting songs composed for the game to give it that 80s Radio vibe.
Really hope they will also keep that vibe going with charming details like that.
