Game can be played solo, but very difficult. You REALLY need meta upgrades from Mementos alongside game knowledge of what works and what doesn't.

Can be played offline. I've done it many times without issue, so long as you have internet connection and upload your Steam Save Data before opening another computer, your progress persists.

We're soon releasing an update that's going to revamp combat and discoveries, so gameplay will be more smooth for new players as well :)
