Finished Night Map 2: Twilight Dam

2 tries, one deruster since I put the game down then the 2nd try was a win. Not maxed out Mementos, but very highly upgraded on all the key stats like EXP, Damage, Health, Defense, and Money. Used Paulo's shop for one set of upgrades, never touched it again to farm currency in expectation I'd use.

Ultimately very easy and not much of a challenge. This could be because the new Ice curios are way overtuned. Very easy to just freeze the entire map consistently and go "Ice, Ice, Baby" removing much of the dangers of drones and explosive runners, slowing them down enough to kill them easily.

Octavio should have 2-3 health gates than 4. It's such a slog to get rid of his overshield and it's frustrating to have my damage artificially capped 4 times. Feels like it drags on the fight rather than proving I can survive. He should immediately skip phases upon certain health threshholds than distinct phases. Alternatively, he should rise to recover and summon new Snacks to try and kill you as the issue earlier.

Overall, like the new Twilight map for Moon Cores, it's not that significantly different from everyone else with sharing the same events, though. Maps could use exclusive events to differentiate each other.

Now that I think about it, Twilight Dam could have something with the Snacks causing floods and making the center dangerous to walk in. Could be also be a flood of Snacks that discourage anyone from reaching the center, and you having to cross the bridge with the limited space.

Maps could also have some unique roaming objectives like bosses or activities that spawn, such as finding missing cargo in the train tracks in the first map or buried treasures in the 3rd, leftover from the hasty evacuation.
