Constant Crashing early on

dont know if certain drops or certain enemy kills are causing it but i cant go 3 minutes in a run without it happening

Can you tell us your PC Specs? Mainly Graphics card but other infos sure would help

Happens again when using Left click for Faster reload a few minutes in also.

Happens EVERY TIME you fast reload the weapon? Even while in the Camp?

not every time, but it did cause a crash when i last attempted to try a run a few minutes in

Hey everyone!

We have a potential fix for this issue. Could you guys do the following:

Right click Atomic Picnic on your library
Click on Properties
Open the Betas Branch
Choose hotfix-test
Close and wait for the game to update!
Open the game and check if you're on version 0.5.2.77 at the bottom!

Play the game and see if that fixes the crash!
If it does fix or even if it doesn't fix, come back here and tell us! 🙏

Still crashed a couple minutes into the run. I did two. I was about halfway through level 5

Hum... Could you time the run and tell us exactly how many minutes into the run it crashes? This will help us narrow down the problem.

In the meantime, can you go to your AppData Folder > LocalLow > BitCake Studio > Atomic Picnic and send us the Player.log file? (Make sure the game crashed before sending this file)

Tried to pick my items somewhat quick to keep time more accurate. Tests performed on the beta branch you suggested earlier.

1st: 3:03
2nd: 3:07 - One of the blastoise turtle dudes just spawned and shelled up then crash
3rd: 3:06 - I didn't even kill anything this time. Just ran laps

I went ahead and joined the Discord then posted my player log under Bug Report ---> Unity Crash 2021 (https://discord.com/channels/104787628976549888/1295524815716876339/1295524815716876339) since it seems awfully similar and also an AMD video card. Although I was able to complete the tutorial.

We just update the game, fixing Crashes related to AMD Cards from series 5000 and 6000!
Let us know if that solved your issue!

Check if the version of the game at the bottom ends in .78!
