I'm very intrigued but no demo and a pre-release 10% discount is more suspicious than enticing.

you call this suspicious but if a game you have waited for released with a small discount you would jump at the chance to pick up up. you cant go calling this suspicious when you have probably bought a game that was discounted at release.

Well since they are a very small team I highly doubt they would release a demo.

You want a demo? Go buy it. The "demo" will only last for 2 hours and you have to manually stop the game before you hit the 2 hour mark.

Many games now are doing a discount pre release I have noticed. only the big greedy AAA developers are charging 70 usd and up for their games with no discount.
This game looks absolutely amazing and the price was an instant buy for me because the entire game shown so far looks fantastic with a great story hook, great voice actors, very cool combat mechanics, and amazing looking graphics and music. this developer is not trying to sell their game at ridiculous prices and also is giving a discount , on top of the game looking absolutely amazing. It is one game I am super excited to play this year.

The discount is available for a week after the game releases. Your concern was already free of merit and yet you've managed to lower the bar still further.

I want a demo too. I shouldn't have to buy day one, download and install the whole thing, mess around with settings, sit through what could be a lot of intro cutscenes just to finally get to gameplay and see its a mess or a well tuned game.

Plus it is on PC Game Pass so you could buy 1 month, play as long as you want in that month, cancel sub and then buy the game if you really like it.
