As for the topic, FFIX was listed as singleplayer but actually had a partial multiplayer mode too, where you could assign your party members to the different controllers you had plugged in, so your friends/siblings could play some of your party members in battle, that wasn't the most expansive multiplayer ever but I appreciated it lol.
I think Lord of the Rings The Third Age had the same feature and that game basically WAS just Final Fantasy X (but Lord of the Rings).
I'm fine with this game being singleplayer (and really looking forward to it!) but I do like those kind of little extra multiplayer features too lol.
Let's be honest, multi-player would add nothing for this kind of game but lowered content.
Don't poo poo fun multiplayer features!
Heck yeah it was!
I never played lotr third age but i know dos2 multiplayer and its slaps
(It can be chaotic becuz of the dos2's certain canon events in every fight like covery everywhere with oil and poison then exploding everything in visible combat zone)
Though friends? They'd enjoy playing together.
Lucky indeed, so fed up everytime there is a new game there are always some people asking for multi...
