(Spoilers) Wish there was 3rd ending

I get the point of the game and I do actually really like both endings even if verso one does get me teary eyed.

Still, as most people who love this game I do wish there was some way to keep all these characters alive and not just erase them. Seeing them all wave to Alicia as they fade is heart breaking regardless of what you think about the ending. Then Maelles ending is also not perfect because even if you look past that she is forcing verso to do as she wants and she might not be truly happy inside herself, there is another massive issue there. The issue is that she will simply die in probably days or weeks in real world, forcing her family to watch it all happen and then the world gets erased anyways by renoir probably., not to mention that Alina probably wont just sit all of it out the entire time either and go back to the canvas, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up even more than it would be already, and it would be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up as it is.

I got this blessing and a curse where I over analyze everything and I did so with this game too. It actually answered most questions quite well on it's own but there one I was left with, which is the ending. If dessande family just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ talked to each other and set some boundaries while also supporting each other then the canvas could have stayed as it is and no one inside of it would need to be erased.

They could ust all leave the canvas and let the life there continue without them, letting esquie, monoco, sciel, lune, and everyone else to still exist there. along with verso. The question is, can canvas continue without a painter(ess) inside or does it go on pause? That I do not know, it looks like verso needed his soul to stop painting for everything to self destruct but also everyone was already fading before he did. So could be either or but lets say painting continues, then good, and if not then option 2.

The option 2 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ talking to each other and not being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Was it really that hard for them to go back to canvas like hour a day, which likely translates into weeks or months there if not more and spend time together there without destroying everything? I mean being imprisoned on top of monolith for 67 years and not being able to really talk to verso could not have been that fun for alina, so why not come to middle ground?

As for verso not wanting for it all to continue? Well, for sake of his mother, sister, father, etc, I get it but if he still wants it over even if they are safe then how about ♥♥♥♥ you my dude? Esquie alone is worth preserving the canvas my guy.

Unless a 3rd ending is hiding and no one has found it yet, then there isn't one. We either have to wait for them to come out with an enhanced edition eventually, where the improve the writing a bit for things to make more sense, or we wait even longer for new content. For now, all we can do is discuss what is present.

The lead up to the two endings. The actual endings themselves are fine from a technical stand point, but there's just so many questions and things left up to interpretation now, and a lot felt like there may have been trouble with whoever was writing the story. Maybe they ran out of time or money.

I suppose the one good thing is that the demand for more content is immense.
