[SPOILERS] Soft locked! Fatal error preventing progress!

I've tried deleting all my files (minus the save) and redownloading and reinstalling.

I've rolled back my nvidia driver to 566.36.

I've tried running the game with and without ClairObscurFix 0.0.10

I've tried running in windowed or fullscreen.

Nothing makes a difference. I'm softlocked in Old Lumiere where you're playing as Maelle solo and you reach the manor and find out Verso is Renoir's son. The game fatal error crashes shortly after starting the cutscene, so I decided to look up the cutscene on YT and then skip it to get to the fight with Renoir thinking the cutscene is the issue. Nope! Fatal error crashes halfway through Renoir's first attack.

I want to keep playing but this game is so unstable I'm about to have an aneurysm trying to fix it. Has anyone else run into this crash and been able to fix it?

Ryzen 5 3600x

RTX 3070

Edit: Signs point to an optimization issue or memory leak. I turned all my settings down to low and DLSS to "ultra performance" and I was able to make it through the fight, only to fatal error crash on the cutscene afterwards. Unreal Engine 5 is garbage.
