You don't have to worry about holding certain weapons as you level up.
If I put a lot of points into strength, let’s say 100 for example, I’m going to try to use a weapon that has a good grade for strength.
If a weapon has an A grade, it might add an additional 10 points to my attack, but if it’s a B I only get 8. If it’s really low like D or E it might add 2-3.
Some people like to prioritize stats differently and it’s a good habit to get into making sure your weapon is going to benefit as much as possible with whatever you’ve been doing for your character build.
Thanks Null, I realized I sounded like a jerk in my first reply and jumped in to make a better comment. Looks like we found this thread at the same time.
BTW I took a look at your profile and Double Dragon 2 is also part of my earliest memories. XD
