Story gives me FFX vibes

I'll start by trigger people and tell you that I've pre-ordered this game already. It's not something i do lightly but a lot about this game made me want to. The exploration (hopefully not too linear) and overworld look really cool. The combat looks fun and engaging with the perfect time presses akin to one of my favourite JRPG's, Lost Odyssey! But honestly, all of that aside.....the Story is calling out to me. It has wet my appetite already and I am invested! It definitely gives me FFX vibes with the whole 'this group must end this rising of'. Obviously this is the 33rd Run and will most certainly have different story arcs that will differ from FFX, but it definitely made me think about how in FFX you were on a quest to be the ones to repel Sin's destruction of the world and bring peace for the people, until the next time it was needed to be repeated. Honestly, I can't wait to dive into this game and I'm even considering my first playthrough to be on 'Story' Mode just to enjoy the narrative itself! What are you most excited for? What's the main draw of the game for you? Either way, I hope we all get joy out of playing this title and I can see it honestly being a possible contender for GOTY (certainly for me at least).
