story question (Verso Ending)
Ok, I understand the whole story but I have this question you know?
Is the Dessandre family also not living in the real world? In his tomb he died on the 33 December which isn't supposed to exist.

I think '33 is the year... as in 1933.
it says 22 February 1879 - 33 December 1905
Wait what I need to watch the vid
It does say that in the vid, so there's a chance my painting inside a painting theory might be a thing hmmm

No just the real world use a different calendar, where the last month has 33 days or more instead of just 31.

Anything I can find says Julian and gregorian calendar has been active since 1500s, and nowhere can I find a time when Dec had 33 days

It's a game/fictional story, it doesn't have to use the same calendar system. Magic painters and writers also don't really exist.
With such keen eyes, I wonder if you can find "33" anywhere else in this game

(like an easter egg or some kind of studio employee esoteric joke)

I don't think it's like the old x-men movies where they tried to put x's everywhere, if it's supposed to be out of the canvas, why a date that doesn't exist, in a city that does.

Does it show up elsewhere outside the canvas? I mean I wasn't looking for 33s.
i mean stuff like the max weapon level being ...

Nah, it's such a minor, trivial thing that has no real bearing on anything else, it is probably just an easter egg/nod.
all of it is still within the game; there just little nods to the name of the game
its a real world, but its not our real world. They can use magic in that world. I guess their months are a bit longer than ours or their year could even have an extra fantasy month, who knows?
