Why not add a Retry button?

It's just that, why not add a Retry button? It's a bit frustrating to have to go back to the enemies every time they defeat me .

I agree, but in the meantime...you can swap weapons or pictos to trigger a save in front of an enemy.

Yeah, that's what i learned also, i just put on/off an outfit to trigger a save

But a retry button would also be nice

This is one of the QOL improvements I would like to see. Throwing the battle if you're about to lose anyway and sometimes having to walk a stupid amount back to a battle is frustrating. A retry button would be welcome.

The first feature patch hasn't landed yet.
The "why not" question may have no answer other than "actually yes".
It's quite possibly THE most requested / desired feature.
