Where to start with "postgame" content?
Finished Act II with my characters in the 40s. I want to go around the world and do all the side content, but I'm constantly running into enemies that, even if I can dodge enough, get multiple turns in a row. I'm guessing there are easier or lower level areas where I can build up a bit first, but where are they?

Any suggestions for where to get started coming to grips with the optional content? I have given everyone Painted Power and the other good abilities I've collected, but I need more stats and lumina points.

Get relationships to 7, finish story, then slowly chip away at other areas. Definitely go for Sprong for his pictos will help immensely.

Finish the main story first. Then working on party relationships should point you toward a few locations. You'll get some levels and power from both.
Stats you should be fine with around lvl 55 and Lumina set to 100 lets you do some of the opening Act 3 stuff without you being overkill. Take on Sprong and do the character quests then I'd head to the night version of Gestral forest to the east or do frozen heart.

Sprong's Picto is very powerful so I equipped it to learn the passive and I won't be using it until I run into some later stuff.
The character relationship quests are probably the best place to start. I think I did Lune's first, as it's basically just one boss in Sirene's Dress. A pain in the butt boss, yes, but doable. Then I did Monoco's quest, and then Maelle's, then just went around to any chromatic bosses I had missed or skipped, Sprong, the Serpenphale, the Chromatic Petank, and also just farming lumina points by going back through levels I already did (also good to do to reach any breakable rocks that you couldn't break the first time through) and farming enemies that I knew I could beat until my levels increased. That's a good way to learn a massive amount of pictos, as well, so that you can better equip your team, and also earn skill points if there are any skills you wanted to use but don't necessarily want to repaint. Also make sure to hit up the Dark Gestral Arena and at least start the Tower challenge. After that, you will be more than ready to take on the Flying Manor and Renoir's Drafts.
