Stuck between indestructable pots -- bricked playthrough?

Just wanted to make sure, game prevents us from jumping while in overworld right?

Because I tried seeing if going to camp would reset my location I've overwritten prior saves.
We can't jump right?
I have to restart a four hour first playthrough because of this?

maybe you can open a camp and you will get placed on a new spot afterwards

Open the in-game menu and select "Load Previous Saves". From there you can go to a previous auto-save.

The game keeps multiple autosaves and saving is triggered by multiple actions that you make frequently. You should be able to wind the game back by a few minutes to when you were last free, provided that you haven't overwritten all of your saves by this point.

You will need to bring up your pause menu in-game and see how far back you can go.

And don't forget you can scroll down a lot on those past safes, it's not just the first 3 you see.

Restarting the game puts me at the same spot.

Going to camp and coming out puts me at the same spot. It's also because I went to camp it overrode all my previous save slots. It was a cutscene and I also hit the expedition flag a couple times -- combination of that was like 10-15 save slots I guess cause I've tried every save file.

Make sure you use the mousewheel to scroll down the list of saves. Mine has like 20+, covering the last few hours of gameplay. Scroll down as far as it'll go and select the last one, and cross your fingers.

If that doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas, sorry.

Nah it's my fault for trying to fix it with a dgaf mindset. A handful of saves were wasted reloading ones I already tried -- I should have written down the timestamps. It wasn't till I got to the end of the list I realized I might be ♥♥♥♥ out of luck.

Only thing I can think of is commissioning someone to make a noclip/enable jumping mod or waiting for Sandfall to patch a solution.

Download cheat engine and look for a trainer for expedition 33 on the fearless revolution forms, at least one trainer gives you infinite jumps so you can just hold down the jump button until you get unstuck.

oh sorry i see you are on overworld, it might be worth trying the trainer anyways, or the Fling trainer and setting game speed really high like 50x faster and running around in circles to see if you can get unstuck

I installed Steam and E33 in a VM. Ran the shoddy app, unstuck my save file, transferred it over and it still works.
