Game Crashes After Act 2 Mid-Boss

I've beaten Renoir twice and when I do the game throws me back to the start screen; the screen it shows when you first boot the game and it gives you the epilepsy warning. I thought it must be a trick ending like Nier so I checked online and it's supposed to send me to camp after the post-fight cutscene. I can't beat the game like this. I already tried reloading an older save, restarting the game, etc.
