Is it possible to show someone the beginning of the game without losing progress?

As the subject says, sometimes I want to show someone the prologue of the game but it keeps auto saving and I don't think there's a manual save. So does that mean you have no choice but to lose your save if they play long enough?

You should be able to make a new slot to show the start of the game.

Edit: I would recommend to try saving the main file first off the auto-save if you are concerned with overwriting the auto-save. Then make the new slot.

I just tested this. The new save slot has it's own auto-save files. So it won't impact the main file at all. When you make a new slot using the new game. The auto-saves are contained to the slot.
