MKB Inputs Being Eaten
In a game with somewhat tight windows for parries and/or dodging, it's really difficult to get invested when I am 8 minutes deep on a tough fight and then get wiped because my inputs aren't being registered with Mouse & Keyboard.

Has anyone figured out a surefire workaround? This is driving me mad.

are you using wired devices? wireless (unless high end devices) will give you input lag

also what CPU are you using?
input relies on CPU

yea? that a hardwear issue i think might wanna do a fresh install. I use shadow cloud gaming its a virtual PC streamed to me to play games, and i havnt had any input issues parrying ot dodging
No wireless components at all. I can confidently say it isn't delay, it just periodically EATS inputs. CPU is a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM)i7-137000K.

I've attempted to verify file integrity and a fresh install but it hasn't resolved the issue.
I'd appreciate any and all suggestions or recommendations, even if I've tried it before. I'm just trying to narrow down what the problem is or isn't.

To clarify: As a monster starts a long wind-up attack, I've repeated instances of deliberately pressing a Dodge/Parry early just to see if it registers at all and it doesn't. I have to press it 2-3 times in some instances.
it can even be your keyboard, what keyboard you have ?

It is definately an issue with the game. I did not realize you could move the map view, because the game did not register my first clicks. And to this day, it still doesn't. if I open a map and press a key like "D", nothing happens, when I press it the second time the view starts moving, this happens with every direction and every time.

I first noticed this in battles(because I thought I was only be able to zoom the map), when I noticed I was not doing some very easy dodges or parries and then I noticed that the characters did not even do the animation. This also happens in the Gestral volleyball game.

Characters move ok, menus work, everything else works, it's these 3 specific cases where the game has trouble registering inputs. And it's not something that happens in any other programs either, I do a lot of writing and I would notice something like this very fast.

well 2 the map movement is because it has to disable the mouse next time you in game open find you mouse the press a direction you'll see your mouse disappear

in combat, if you hold mouse in your hand game wont register keyboard inputs (or they will be extremely delayed). Make sure you use mouse only to shoot and then stop holding it altogether and use just keyboard.

Thanks, I think you two identified the issue and I would label it a bug
