Do you like videogames? Do you like rpgs. Did you perhaps like baldurs gate (arguably same quality) or maybe your familiar with the jrpg turn based system of Final fantasy? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should get it.
If you answered no to all of these questions you should get it for you and your friends so we (the 96 percent of us) can have a better gaming experience in the future.
Btw , thanks !
Also, mechanically, Persona 3 plays a little like Pokemon, where you swap out your Persona for the one that you need and use the one you have active, as well as having a party of other characters to control. This game is a more standard RPG, where you can dodge and parry attacks like Sekiro. But there is a lot of customization as well. Again, both games are winners IMHO, but E33 is current and it's cheap enough.
and both are great games
so since E33 is current and popular right now, you'll have the enhanced experience of playing something recent alongside many other people willing to learn and share their experience too
otherwise just flip a coin and pick one random
If you hate Japanese games, E33.
A lot of hyperbolic comments are being thrown around about the game as it's still in the honey moon phase for a lot of people.
A very good game but it has some issues that aren't exactly negatives so ppl don't really bring them up.
Combat is the best part of the game, but is very easy once you get the relative hang of the enemy's "move-set." A lot of the boss fights are a little underwhelming as well, even on Expert for my first play through.
Map exploration and loot is very basic.
The character skill trees are also pretty basic and meh the further you get in, the weapon choices too I wish were a little expanded upon.
And the post-story end game side content is either really good (some hidden bosses,) or really meh, pretty much everything else.
A solid 8/10 for me, at the price it is as well it's almost certainly worth it.
I will say Clair Obscure Expedition 33 is a very good game, but it depend on you what you want to get and play first.
Persona is overrated. Except Persona 4.
3, 4 and 5 all are excellent. 5 being the best because of variety of mechanics and variety of stories.
