(End Game Spoilers) Why is Renoir still upset?

If you do all the endgame side quest and bosses it seem as though you are pushing everyone out of painting but, Renoir is still upset about Alicia in his boss fight. Don't you push her out at the top of the Third Exon? Or did i miss understand? Everyone left inside the painting is just a Painted version of the Original?

You've missed kinda the most important plot point of the game, in that Maelle is the "real" Alicia.

The at The Reacehr is the Painted version Aline made.

He also sees that Alicia wants to remake the canvas, and she's clearly looking to escape reality, which isn't how you deal with trauma in a healthy way.

Renoit isn't a good guy, but hes not evil.

That makes sense because in the prologue video her sister says the real Maelle is being reborn in the world.
