Glad the haters have no leg to stand on at this point...
I think most people have learned to read all kinds of steam reviews with a large grain of salt - they are, after all, just the opinions of strangers on the internet.
that said: for seeing general appeal, seeing 90+% in what is a binary yes/no system is also very telling of the overall opinion beyond that.
Not true, most reviews were complaining about parry/dodge system and wanted something more like Persona.
There is hope for this world after all?
This won't happen until most gamers wake up to themselves and demand better. All of the video game industry's problems are caused and enable by moronic gamers who have no impulse control and little to no standards.
Why do we get microtransactions, content locked behind paywalls, broken games on release etc? Because the vast majority of gamers are stupid fools who enable this nonsense.
These video game companies are a business and like any other business, they want to make as much money as possible. And if they are able to profit from gamer stupidity then they will continue to do so. And like I said, this won't change until most gamers wake up to themselves.
Gamers get the video game industry that they deserve.
Which is exactly why I have stopped purchasing the slop they continually release. Unfortunately for us, we are the small minority in a much bigger pond that blindly consumes.
Good thing persona exists then. I can go and downvote CSGO cause I prefer turn based games. Or if I buy a can of beans and refund them because I prefer the taste of bacon
