Question about 4th party member (aside from possible name spoilers no story spoilers)

For whatever reason she's taking much more damage than the rest of my party, despite having higher def, non of my party members have pictos equipped that half damage or let them take less damage and i don't have any pictos equipped that have her take more damage. I've triple checked that to be sure.

So i'm confused? Should the def stat being higher not.. matter? Her def is 49, Maelles def is 9 and she (even without tank stance) takes much less damage.

Am I missing something?

she always seemed like the more tanky of characters i have.

That's why i'm so confused or what i'm missing because the stats she has should not be as high then

I have not invested in her def stat because she seemed to have a naturally high def stat according to her char spread sheet.. could that be it at all?

Check her weapon? An early weapon you get doubles the damage she takes

Do you have the weapon equipped that double the dmg she takes (Chation)?

Are you using Chation? read the first passive on it
