"SIDE quests" along the "MAIN quest" sending you into "DANGER ZONE's"...
Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me??? Dumbest dev decision ever..
If you want to implement backtracking, do it in a manner that makes sense.
I honestly want to slap the dev who made the final decision on this. Sending me there just to turn back, therefore wasting my time..

EDIT 1: ***In case someone doesn't get this complaint***. In "Monoco Station" (you get there pretty early on by doing the main quest) there is a NPC trader/vendor that gives you a side quest into "Frozen Hearts" which turns out to be a DANGER ZONE once you get there (that area has items that can increase your weapon level to 32; haven't even found an item that can get my weapon to lvl 10 yet). Insane jump in area level.

Why the ♥♥♥♥ is there an available SIDE quest into such a dangerous area in the path of the MAIN quest so early on. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Lock it until one has beaten the game or something. Yeesh...

EDIT 2: ***To those who still don't get it..*** You clearly don't understand the jump in difficulty from an area that drops lvl 9 weapon craft items/lvl 9 pictos VS an area that drops lvl 32 weapon craft items/lvl 21 pictos...

Sure, go waste your time on clearling the entire area where 1 hit will kill you, they outspeed you multiple times even when your entire party is 80 agility & the enemies all have insanely fast/spammy 3-8 hit movies & your 9999 hit will only remove like 2-5% of their HP. Ohh, can't forget the massive BOSS at the top level (even tho I couldn't kill anything, I explored the entire area & collected all the items by running circles around enemies). So stupid of the game to send me there so early. Just bad game design/dev choices.

Pretty sure the "danger zone" message only occured if your crews lvl is too low. Doesn't mean you have no chance in it.

You guys made me elaborate my issue...

The reason why it is there is because with enough skill you can do it while underleveled. Literally everything outside of the main quest is optional, and it took me about 30 hours to do all of it, and im sure there is a handful of things I have simply missed. For the average person, the DANGER text is basically a "oh, maybe I should come back to this a bit later" light bulb moment if you go in there and get slapped.

Its like in Elden Ring or any Souls game. You CAN go into any high level area pretty much from the start. It doesnt mean you SHOULD.

I fail to see any issues here besides your own comprehension and abilities.

Plus, as a fun little bonus, if you actually TALK TO THE NPC OUTSIDE OF MONOCO'S STATION WHEN YOU ENTER THAT AREA he even tells you this is the wrong way and you should turn back. You would know that, if you bothered to pay even the smallest modicum of attention.

And as another bonus..

You're dumb for not understanding the complaint. I even went into detail & you still couldn't comprehend. What's wrong with you?

Yes, I do. Because I walked in there the second I got there as well. Tried 1 fight and was like.. NEWP.. im outta here. The only one stopping your own hubris is you. Then I came back thinking I was the right level and stomped the dungeon by accident because I overleveled, and that was with a terrible build when I didnt know anything.

Don't pretend to claim I know nothing about this games mechanics and difficulties. I have 100% the game. But try again.

Im going to redirect you to my point about the NPC outside of monocos station telling you that you shouldn't be there and to turn back, and then tell you that you clearly have no idea how to play this game if you believe you can be that underpowered and clear that dungeon.

Again, the only thing wrong here is your personal ability to comprehend the situation you are in. If something feels too hard, its because it is for your current level. Its not a game issue, its not even a skill issue. its a you issue. All because your stubbornness is getting in the way of you actually playing the game, by purposely ignoring what is going on around you at that time, and then you come onto the forums and complain about the games design and difficulty when you put yourself into the situation you are in.

As I said, a normal person would realize they get smacked by trash mobs, maybe try it again to see if its even peasable at that time, and then leave when they got their teeth kicked in. You are doing an optional dungeon that is easily 30-40 levels above you, and you should be able to derive that simply based on how aggressive and punishing it is. Read the room. No one sent you there, you willingly went into an area you aren't ready for. The more you go on, the more ridiculous you sound.

"But Havok, I want to play the game how I want and do content im not ready for reeee. Stupid devs making this area too difficult when I am intentionally going the wrong way because I ignored the NPC that tried to warn me, and ignored the giant DANGER sign on the entrance to the dungeon. Game Dumb, Devs Stoopid, Me Smart.".

You might want to go back to minecraft then.

You don't even understand that they don't understand the complaint so how can you claim to understand anything? Go back to your cave troll.

If you're going to write a tantrum post and ridiculously insult the devs because you can't come back to an area of a game later on when you're stronger, then maybe RPGs aren't a great genre for you to be playing.

DON'T YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GET IT??? You walking there IS THE ISSUE...

Proper game design/dev choices would not have made an NPC that directs you there so early to begin with. The choice to explore it was my decision. That is not the issue here.

The devs sending me there, just to turn back (wasting my time), IS THE ISSUE. So I repeat. Which ever dev made the final decision on that detail deserves a solid slap in their face for such a dumb game design implementation.

EDIT: Little details matter more than you think.

No, you are the one who doesnt get it.

Its an open world rpg. You can go anywhere you want. You chose to go in there. You willingly are trying to fight an area that is 40 levels above you because your hubris, ego and idiocy want you to. The devs didnt send you there. The devs put an NPC at the exit of monocos station to tell you to turn back, which I have now said 3 times. You not paying attention is the problem. The area is too high level for you, and you should have realized that at the first trash pull. You didn't, now you are here complaining like a child.

And, as I said, once again, I and many others walked in there because we wanted to explore. None of us made rage threads on a steam forum about it because we knew we shouldn't be there. A concept foreign to you apparently.

You preach about good/bad design, when you are the entire issue with the game industry. You want everything spelled out for you. A guided path with markers, walls and dialogue that spells it out for you 5 times to make sure you get it. Sorry, but you are proving your intelligence levels with this one. Take the L and walk away. The problem is you and your overreaction.

Actually, Monoko mentions you need to exist from one door for the story, as the other one is too dangerous for you now. And they put a NPC just outside the gate telling you that's not the way to the next area of the story, that you're going the wrong way.
You decided to ignore the clear warnings they gave you, I don't think you have much right to complain about the situation you put yourself into.
