Does anyone else's game crash randomly?
This is relating to AMD, after awhile the game will freeze and just come up with an AMD error.

I dont know if this is from AMDs side I'm assuming it's the GPU or the game having a problem that would cause it to crash, I'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this issue

I have no hard evidence but I suspect it is a memory leak. I don't think it is AMD or Nvidia releated. I have an Nvidia GPU and my game would crash every 2-4 hours of continuous play time. Faster if I went to more varied locations. It always came up as a UE5 Fatal Error

It happened to me in the middle of three boss fights. Got to the point where if I had been playing long enough and got to a boss, I'd save at the flag, quit the game, and relaunch it to avoid the crash mid fight.

Its not an nvidia issue afaik, as I haven't crashed once in 50+ hours and 100%'d the game without a crash.

Use DDU and clean install your drivers.

Alternatively, you can check out this thread https://steamcommunity.com/app/1903340/discussions/0/592896865677119200/ or others for things to try.

I saw somewhere that there is an issue with AMDs adrenalin suite, but I can't find a thread that details what to disable which helped someone fix their crashing on AMD GFX card.

Turn of Anti-Lag if its enabled, and consider a small undervolt on your GPU through Adrenalin https://steamcommunity.com/app/1903340/discussions/0/592895271730497396/?ctp=55#c567001570938521758

Thanks for that, I'll try it tonight and comment back if it resolved the issue over the hrs of gameplay
0 crashes here, but also on AMD+ Linux

Yes. Every 20 mins or so game kicks me to the desktop with no error message. Started happening more since act 2. I've given up playing at this point.
AMD. and no.
Yes, I've probably crashed to desktop 8 times now over about 60 hours of play. No error messages.

I haven’t got a single crash and I already 100% the game.
So most crashes are probably fixable.
Full AMD setup here.

Reseting shader cache can sometimes help with UE5 crashes and performance problems. Especially after it starts after game’s update.
I don't have AMD, but this game has crashed way more than any other game I've played in the last 12 months. I probably crash about once every couple of hours. It's really weird because sometimes the crash will happen when I'm not actually doing anything in game.

Please read my message above with threads on how people debugged the crashing.

I appreciate you're trying to help, but my drivers are up to date, and I'd rather quit the game than work through all the other suggestions in that thread, many of which I'd have to research in order to figure out how to implement them. At the moment, the crashes are irritating, rather than game breaking, but if it gets worse there are plenty of other games that don't crash regularly for me to play :-)
no but my PC is clean and well build... AND Win10.. AND Intel
