NOTE TO THE DEVS: What is this "MAP"?
I say "MAP" because what we have in the game now loosely fits the definition of a map, but also inadequate for end game. I don't know what happened with the map, but it seems to be the least developed part of this game. :er_heart:It makes sense that nothing shows up on the map until you have been by the location. There are very in general markers for locations but most maps have a MAP KEY..... and show information on that location.

Don't get me wrong, I love Esquie and all, but it is a daunting task flying around trying to find out where I should be for my level. The red portals are helpful but mean very little since they do not reflect on the map.

Our current map has nothing until you go into the location and even then the map only shows you the name of the location. We should, at the very least, see a recommended level per location. It is also very weird that the Icons on the map seem like you can toggle them for more info but do nothing. It would be killer if we could toggle each location on the map to see more information like monster drops, special monsters, bosses, and collectibles yet to be completed. :er_heart:

If anything, the only objectively wrong thing about the map is controlling it. Moving around and zoom feels like it was made 30 years ago.
It's pretty simple. Anything that is only reachable with flying and anything with a danger marker is a high-end challange.
Anything that can be reached with just just walking&swimming is "easy" to get.

No idea about diving though, I would assume that you are in danger with that too.

I’m only in act 2 and what bothers me the most is how you don’t have markers for merchants you visit, it’s so easy to forget them. And also some kind of indication that you didn’t find all the stuff in a zone.
Just go explore. I mean really, daunting? The game isn't going to shoot your dog if you go into the 'wrong' area, just enter them and see what happens.

I for one appreciate games that don't spoon feed every possible piece of information to the player. That kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ought to stay in MMOs in my opinion.
