[SPOILERS] White Sand?

What is the point of White Sand? Beside the French voice-over? Is there any way to leave the first area where one arrives after entering? There is a big building on top, at a distance, but I could find no way to reach it. Is it the same building we saw burning in a cutscene? [\spoiler]

There are like 6-7 of these areas. Where there is nothing but a music record to find and some atmospheric background. I suspect its unused assets from the game development they did not want to go to waste so they put them in the game anyway with some collectible stuff to find.


As for the person speaking, thats actually the composer of the game speaking to create an eerie atmosphere and its not actually French but some sort of made up gibberish that uses French words that make no sense.
In an older build of the game from 2 years ago that track actually played over the Gommage scene in the intro.
So just a gimmick with no meaning behind it.

I think its just a little scenic spot for music record. There a few areas like that

Could have been a good spot for some epic boss fight.
