does my shields are for show only ?

enemies shield block any damage from me. AND I GET ONE SHOTED WITH FIVE SHIELD ?
Im staring to hate this unbalance crap

Check your Picto's. There's one in act two that gives you 30% more damage if you have shields, but there's a catch. One hit and they're all destroyed.
