Ai generated artwork/design?
It’s not a bait or smth like that and I’m not accusing anyone, but all 15 hours of my playthrough felt like I’m walking among midjourney generated artworks. All this designs, all this colours etc looks so artificial somehow (Imho). Actually, at one point I was pretty sure that devs used some sort of ai generation, but I haven’t seen anyone discussing it, so I thought maybe it’s just me not catching the vibe. So don’t you guys feel the same way…?

The idea is exactly to look like that, surreal. You might have noticed a certain painting theme ;)

Not at all, it does feel like art/design made by people. If anything, the art style feels more like it was intended to "look artificial" due to the nature that we are, infact, in a painted world and not in a real world. Maybe that's what makes you feel like it looks "unatural".

Can't wait for AI art to be indistinguishable from man made art.

It's meant to look like a painting.

Also... how beefy if your computer? Is it in the middle or low range to play the game? That might affect how it looks.

I get it guys, you like the game, and so do I at some point, even if I’m not a big fan of this… type of games. However I’m still not convinced that ai isn’t the case here. Yeah, it meant to look like a painting and so on, but it reminds me of ai too much. I think I better should ask some visual artists. I feel like something’s wrong here

Just going to point it out, but AI generating map and then tweaking the result manually is a perfectly acceptable way to generate maps, that will most likely become more and more common in the future, especially for open world games. This isn't the same thing as AI art at all.

That’s why I’m so curious about it. Sure, I might be wrong af, but it’s an interesting topic
