No idea about the other two but I have noticed the same inconsistent dodge thing a few times.
I have noticed very rarely the issue with dodging attacks and random members being hit. It may just be a bug or super delayed timing that the game breaks and damages some random people. The auto shell lumina helps with this if you have it equipped on everyone.
Flying enemies are kinda annoying at first, but if you build Gustav/Verso as a shooter like I mentioned, this takes care of them easy and they will no longer be an issue. Unfortunately, guns are always the best way to deal with flying enemies.
As for the dodging part, I have had this only happen for jumping. The actual animations of your characters play a part here, so you'll probably want to be as perfect as possible. It rarely ever happens where the others take no damage while one does though.
As for flying enemies, shooting them is pretty much the most reliable way of finishing them. The good news is that flying enemies don't have much HP at all. If you have a character with shooting pictos, it gets the job done even easier.
