Graphics made me refund
I bought the game on recommendation from a friend, but after about 90 minutes of playing I have to refund it.

I'm not saying anything about the story/music as I haven't really gotten that far, but I will say something about the graphics.

When first entering the game I instantly turned all Post Processing off, kept my DLSS setting at DLAA (I know it's bugged now) and used most of the max settings available. DLSS Quality looks bad and the ghosting is even worse.

First I noticed graphical glitches in cut-scenes everywhere, and it was extremely blurry.

Then in the game I noticed ghosting everywhere, weird grainy shadows, strange faces and pop-in. Walked through the tutorial till the petals were falling and the ghosting got even worse. Constant trails behind the petals.

Stopped playing, and went to search for answers and found many topics on it. Downloaded a fix and a Engine.ini config which did help to some degree (no more obvious petal trails). But it had a bad effect on the TAA.

Hair now is even more pixely, shadows look worse and when I entered the first area after the intro, the fog just made everything look like sand on my screen.

I wish UE5 games were better optimized and weren't so broken.

My rig isn't the best, but still decent enough.

RTX 3090 (no 4090/5090 available here at normal prices so can't upgrade and need 24GB VRAM)
AMD R9 9950X
64GB RAM

The game was running at ~50fps 3440x1440
I don't mind the FPS as much as the horrible blurriness, pop-in and ghosting.

ue5 is trash and keeps ruining game that could be actually great.

UE4 had similar issues, still haven't played FF7 Rebirth because it has similar problems. My eyes pick up these things like flickering/ghosting really quickly and it distracts me a lot.

If I play too long my eyes actually start hurting and in some cases I feel actually sick.

Same, I tried everything I read, 3rd party ini files, Lyall fix, etc. I keep getting terrible ghosting/blur. 7800xd3 + 4080 and can't even play the game without getting a headache. 72 minutes of "gameplay" which was me trying to get rid of the ghosting/blur. I'm tired of being a tester for these trash devs that save money on qa.

I'm pissed because I really like the game but I'll play it in a year when bugs are fixed as usual lately.

ue4 didn't absolutely destroy games like ue5 is doing.
the only ue5 games that are functional are fortnite and rivals.

Yea most of my time was just trying to fix stuff as well, I also hate that nowadays just native resolution without DLSS/DLAA/FSR is somehow not an option.

Final Fantasy 14 was ruined for me because they have forced TAA since the latest expansion and it actually made me ill just playing. No way to turn it off either, everything looks terrible.

Only issues ive had is eye strain after while and a few tiny hiccups in Act 2.
