Anyone else having game randomly freezing, then going to black screen, and then computer restarts
Anyone else experiencing this today? I have been running this game at epic graphics since I started it and now i'm further into Act 2 and I just keep getting this happening every like 10-20 minutes.

That ain't good chief.
I think it has to do with the new nvideo graphics update, i just installed and now the game is doing the same
If you are using NVIDIA GPU there is a known widespread issue

Rollback to 566.36 solved it for me

Nvidia's drivers have been so freaking awful lately. Idk what they're doing, and they obviously don't either.

NVIDIA doesn't care about gaming at this point, just AI.

Been having this issue and on a 9070xt. I think something in this update broke my game.

I found the exact and perfect fix for the problem.

You need to reduce the clock of all the processor cores.

In my case, an R7 9800x3d, the magic number was to reduce it to 4,000 GHz.

I used the Ryzen Master app. In it, I looked for the cores section and reduced the clock. It should be possible to do it through the BIOS too, but I preferred to do it through the APP.

Every time you restart your PC, you will need to open Ryzen Master and select the profile with the lowest clock.

The exact clock may vary according to the processor. In the case of the R7 9800X3D, 4,000 GHz solves the problem.

If you have another processor, the ideal is to lower the clock to 4,200 and then by 200 in two hundred steps, until you find a number that solves the problem.

This solution seems to work for any UNREAL 5 game and eliminates the errors: out of memory, lowlevel error, fatal error. It definitely solves the crashes in Expedition 33 completely.

Zero crashes, whether opening the game, in cutscenes, or loading after dying.

On Reddit and the Steam community, I saw that the Lords of the Fallen dev reported this problem on Intel processors and recommended reducing the clock to 5,200 GHz as a solution.

However, it is clear that this problem also occurs on AMD processors with high clocks. It is no wonder that most of the victims of this problem are high-end PC owners.

With this solution, you will fix the crash problem without having to force the game to open in DirectX 11, which would make the graphics much worse.
