anything to reduce this flashbang like lighting?

I tried so much with the settings but the lighting in this game is so terrible... I mean in darker areas it is beautiful but then in others where it's bright you feel like you are looking into a flashbang the entire time and it especially happens after closing the inventory.... Sure turn down brightness or gamma but then you get the issue that in darker areas the game is so dark you can't see anything and it's just a blackscreen....
