Why JRPG style?

As a rule, i hate JRPG. Crazy jumping numbers that reach 10 thousand, flashy over the top animation, and silly doll faced characters just makes me feel revolted. And yes Final Fantasy is overrated. I am a die-hard Turn Based RPG fan but JRPG is a definite no go. Pass.

I enjoy legitimately every genre, and tbh JRPGs were probably one of my least favourite genres and yet Expedition 33 was able to be one of my favourite games in recent memory.
