I just entered act 3 and was wondering if it would be more satisfying if I just b lined it straight to the ending. I know you can get over leveled pretty easily. I'm still going to 100% the game either way.

And how long is the entirety of act 3. I only have about 3 - 4 hours and would rather finish it in 1 sitting then spliting it up.

If you want the boss to have some pushback, probably go ahead and go finish it. you can go back and do other stuff afterward before you ng+ should you decide to (this is what I did)

When you finish the final boss a new save is created with the boss killed and you respawn at the expedition flag just before. So it saves your progress and you can go back to the world map and finish all the side content.
After the final boss of the campaign is killed, the option to NG+ is available at all the flags that you can activate whenever you want.
