Sepenthare is a bit ridiculous

Felt like took me close to an hour to beat him. Please tell me there aren't more like him? that constant shield buff and AP drain made that battle a real ordeal.

You were probably underleveled when the beat the crap out of him. I'm assuming you saw the mechanic where he succed ap and blows himself up.

There's a few like that, but nothing you can't overpower with sheer damage

Ones like that usually have some mechanic rather than needing to be beat to death with a stick. Not that you can't with the right setup. I solo'd him with Maelle. Her ability to destroy all shields makes the fight cheap, especially if you have the picto that makes you take 2 turns in a row.

Yeah, was a bit under leveled actually ran into him by mistake while flying. Then was like ok guess i'm doing this lol. Was planning to find him until was built up a bit more. Since he seemed like an ultimate boss. That explosion is crazy that killed all my characters but Maelle. Luckily only had to deal with that once during my battle.

Actually wasn't that helpful to me tbh, there are several group/solo counters along with there attacks. So by the time it was her turn he only had like one/two shield or none at all.
The only thing that worked great for me was her Gerdient attack. That one takes 3 points does heavy dark damage or instantly kills a weak Nevron.
Using just her power stance she hit around 600k. That one helped alot
