[BUG] Fatal error into loading the game.

I played normally yesterday night. Today, when I click continue the game crashes into a "Fatal Error".
Tried do verify the files, didn't work.

Anyone has a workaround? Literally can't play the game right now.

This happened to me today. Restarting PC helped but it's a good time to backup saves eh?

Has "fatal error" message on launching the game (just a black screen and don't even loading in to. Aim menu) yesterday.
It was consistent for several game launches.
Restarting PC solved the issue.

It's happening to me during the cutscenes after beating the boss with the lanterns floating around.
And everytime I have to beat the boss again. This happened three times.
Restarting PC, updating Nvidia drivers didn't help.
Any fix?

Are you loading into title screen and it's crashing on loading game? If my understanding is correct. Then I would try deleting the settings file first and verifying game files to get a new settings file. If that doesn't work I would try to load a backup save file to see if it's corrupted. I have a guide here.

This is the Linux location:
/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1903340/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Sandfall/Saved/Config/Windows/
But on windows, it would be %appdata% and if you follow the folder path to config/windows. Look for GameUserSettings.ini. You can also modify this with a text editor if you wanted to try that first. Since you say you updated your display device I would double check the driver version as well and make sure it's up to date.
