MAJOR BUG - game crashes when entering Painting Workshop boss (Lantern)

Ive reported the bug via the form, but thought this post would also make sure anyone else having this bug gets a chance to comment.

its the only bug that is not solved by restarting the game, it happens every time i go into the boss;s room after i get all 3 things and use it on the statue.

ive tried leaving and coming back, tried removing mods, nothing works.

update: ive uninstalled and re-downloaded / reinstalled the game and it seems to have worked. i think maybe some cutscene files were corrupted as a result of the update. thankfully its fixed now and i was able to progress.

Yeah I'm having the same issue, reinstall didn't solve for me though.

when you uninstall, go to the folder location and make sure you delete any remaining folder or subfolder that remains. then restart your computer. then reinstall via steam.

i've copy pasted my mods folder elsewhere before doing that so i wouldnt lose them, but before inserting it back, i ran the game to see if i could get the cutscene first.

The mods may be the issue. Updates where issued for some. Sandfall put out a PSA saying that some mods cause cut-scenes not to work. Try without no mods and update and add them back in one by one.
