That patch just broken the game
-originally had the game on an older SSD, and moving to an NVME drive with a higher read rate helped a lot. what I assumed as render issues where likely read/write time errors. but reinstalling it on a new drive also cleared the shaders.
-I was streaming the game via discord nitro and that actually seems to be the main issue, likely because of hardware acceleration, but dropping the stream quality fixed the issue (as in turning off the nitro boost mode)
-I also had to update a bunch of drivers recently to update my OS, and part of that was flashing my bios. likely unrelated for that specifically but it forced me to change over my gpu controller program among some other stuff that force updated large subsections of my system.
