Respect to you guys that parry everything
I will parry perfectly for like 5-10 rounds my mind will just doze off trying to kill the same enemy or boss for like 1 hour and giving up. Probably just gonna finish act 3 and try to come back at it slowly. Partly my fault im not good or smart enough making a good build or synergy. Highest dmg is only 680k ofc on Maelle. Cant believe im struggling but still enjoying. definitely game of the year for me. Just wanna give props to you parry kings.

Until this Point i never evaded an attack only in the Tutorial Parrys are the Way to go much easier when you got that Timing in.
There is a Picto that gives you Heal everytime you counter its pretty good when you can parry from time to time

ouh nice. i think i have it yeah. its just that i will parry for rounds straight and just forget or my brain just turn off. i rarely dodge i parry everything i can. :c
I mean between parry and dodge isn't parry the way to go? You take no damage, build AP, deal break damage, and deal damage. So I'd guess a build that is online + parry means faster kill times.

im old and confused, but i can still parry. so can you. it just requires patience, and learning from your mistakes.

Haha I respect you. I'm still new to single player games only start my single player journey 6 years ago. Been playing fps all my life. Nice pfp btw one of my top 10 anime
Well, being in the end game, I definitely can't parry everything on the first attempt. It takes me a few attempts to learn the movesets of enemies I face for the first time. They do have various visual and audible cues that help me time my parries. It's usually when the bosses have their movesets change when they lose enough health that tend to throw me for a loop.

First i avoided Parry. But when i got used to it, it realy made the Combat better.

Yup that definitely me as well. As soon you get used to their moveset they changed when hurt. Then you learn that moveset and sometimes you will forget or missed time the parry expecting another move or just not paying attention on the caption saying what attack they are going to do next

Yeah, some boss fight just drags on -- they just have too much HP. I also got bored after a while saying "how many times to I have to parry you? die already"

Yesss. This is exactly me. I'll expect the move but once it hits me one to many time my momentum get thrown off.
I get so much in the groove I sometimes tap the buttons instead of pressing them.
Meaning I miss some parries out of sheer mechanical stupidity.

I think the only time I even bothered to Dodge was during the tutorial battle with Gustave vs. Maelle. Ever since then, I've lived or died with parry all the way.
Go to Nexus download and install one of mods that trivialize parrying. No point in complaining about it here if it's easily "fixable".
